Climate change directly affects the production of agricultural products. Foreign experience shows that insurance is the most effective method of managing agricultural producers' risks. At the same time, for a number of reasons, agricultural insurance in Russia is extremely poorly developed. Meanwhile, it is the implementation of agricultural producers' risks that leads not only to the financial losses of policyholders, but also to the emergence of other, more socially significant risks: the loss of food security of the state.
